Fees & Rebates

Clients require a Mental Health Care Plan (completed by a GP or psychiatrist) to be seen under the Medicare ‘Better Access’ program.

Under this program, clients are eligible to receive 10 sessions (or 40 sessions under eating disorder items) per year with a Medicare rebate of $145.25.

Cherie Dalton's fee is $250 for a standard 50-minute consultation. Sharryn's fee is $270 for a standard 50-minute consultation. The rates charged for Her Psychology clinical psychology consultations are lower than the current Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended rate of $311.

Clients with an eligible Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) receive a higher rebate for sessions with a clinical psychologist of $145.25 per session or 80% of the fee if the Medicare safety net has been reached. This is a private billing practice and there is an out of pocket fee for services.

The option for credit card payment and automatic Medicare processing is available to streamline payment process.

Her Psychology is also a provider for most private health funds.
